Solved Cannot connect to the forum

Post by Mukoro January 5th 2013, 2:11 am

Hi, I'm having some difficulties connecting to a forum. I think I might know the issue, which would be creating about 15 accounts for future use in a short amount of time. At a certain moment I couldn't connect to the forum at all without having to use a proxy. I talked to the owner about it and he said that he didn't ban me in the IP ban control page, nor was my IP there. So I was wondering, is there some way I can connect again without not being able to enter the forum ever again? o.o

yrs truly,

Muk.

So what exactly happens after you enter your log in information? Or do you mean the forum will not even load?

2. I cannot load the forum at all. Meaning I cannot log in, see the main page etc. etc.
3. See 2.
4. I've tried Chrome, Mozilla, Internet explorer. And Chrome and Mozilla on my laptop (which uses the same IP adress btw)

However my laptop still cannot connect to the site. I'm running Windows XP. My Laptop is running Windows 7.

Ninja-edit: My theory is that forumotion blocks you out for an hour or so if you create too many accounts.

ok give this a little try click your start menu on your windows 7 computer and in the search box type in Disk Clean Up
when this comes up
run that program

it should ask you what drive to clean click C:/
tick all the little boxes and then click ok
when this is done reboot your laptop / computer and then try again

Note: all passwords to any sites will no longer be in your cookie so you will have to type them in again..
