Google performs backups daily, at a certain time.
Until that backup is completed, all search query results will have the old description as Google would deplete lots of their server space if they continuously kept checking the meta tags of each website.
Try agan in a few hours

To answer your top half, yes this is true. It can take up to 3 week to index.
That might work but its an awful long process for something that might not work.

yes i know of that guide i did add the Meta tag where it does not allow bots to to anything then after a few minutes i removed it. But i have not seen on on yet O.o Will they come back... haha i hope i did not break something..... and wow ok yea i will wait haha too bad its a school forum and schools over in three weeks.....
Re: Site Discription not matching what i told it to
Well the bots can take awhile for them to index especially when you added a bot removal meta tag. Like the guide said it will take around 3 week.
So I guess you'll need to wait.

Re: Site Discription not matching what i told it to
I see but my question was i added the removal tag then removed it.. So should they still come back??
Re: Site Discription not matching what i told it to
If you removed the code when the bots come across your forum, they will index what guests can see.
