Admin Panel > General > Forum > Categories and Forums

Click the How do I make it so that guests must be logged in to view my forum and any of its content? Editer on the forums you wish to modify, then click the permissions tab. Uncheck all of the options for guests. (i.e. view and read) All that will show for guests when you're finished applying this to all your forums is the log in page.

No, I mean, if they even click where it says home, it'll bring them to the login page.

That's still not what I want. How about I simplify it?

I don't want anybody to see anything on the forum unless they are logged in. No memberlist, no portal, no usergroups ect.

That's precisely what will occur, when you modify all the forums permissions for guests; i.e. 'view and read' they will be taken to the log in page. You must apply this to all of your forums.

Well i think you need to uncheck also the permission of "view the forum" but for the memberlist, portal, & usergroups, i think it's not possible.

I see what you mean now sorry for the inconvenience, OpalComet.

Please navigate your way to...

Admin Panel > Users & Groups > Special Rights

Change all options to 'Members' except 'Users IP display' and you should be good however, you'll still need to modify your forum permissions as well, okay?

I have too many forums to do the permissions thing, so I'll try this.

Did it work? http://dreamcatrp.catsboard.com/

No, I can still see your forums OpalComet. You'll have to apply those changes if you wish to have maximum privacy, even if it does take a few many minutes.

Yes, I can still view the portal and the widgets. To change who can view these please go to...

Admin Panel > Modules > Portal and Widgets > Portal Management >

Go to the portal page list and choose 'structure' to modify your existing portal. The image below will explain.

How do I make it so that guests must be logged in to view my forum and any of its content? Ex11

When you're finished applying these settings, the widget with your specified permissions will appear like this.

How do I make it so that guests must be logged in to view my forum and any of its content? Ex210

You can also click the rightsHow do I make it so that guests must be logged in to view my forum and any of its content? Perms button on existing portal widgets to modify who can view them as well. Razz

There, I finished what's priority.

I just got rid of the portal, it was only there for the widgets.

Thanks, this really helped.

Great work. Just a heads up, you should change the permissions of the 'Latest Topics' widget so guests cannot view that. Once that's modified you should have maximum privacy. Wink
