Is it possible to run a poll, which allows guests to vote, or is it restricted to members

There is an option, but it will allow guests to vote on any poll on the forum that they can see.

Administration Panel > Users & Usergroups > Users > Users Options
Allow guests to vote: Yes

When your topic has been solved, ensure you mark the topic solved.
Never post your email in public.
