Re: My forum has disappeared
Your forum loads fine for me.
It could be browser issue, have you tried changing browsers? It could just be temporary loading issue.

Re: My forum has disappeared
I work on a mac with safari. I have quit safari and reset it as well. All the other webpages and forums load fine for me...including other forumotion sites...
It also is a blank page on my iPhone 5. Could there be some incompatability with Apple products all of a sudden?
It was fine before.

This is your forum correct? http://lurchersos.forumotion.co.uk/
I've been able to load it fine and I get no problems, you could try clearing your cookies and cache, maybe that might help.

Hi Derri
Yes that is the correct one. My iPhone gets a blank page too - so it isn't a cookie or cache problem or it would just be either my iMac or my iPhone but not both. I am stumped.

Re: My forum has disappeared
Its possibly an internet fault then as its the only thing I can imagine it to be. I'm sorry I couldn't have been more help but its truly mind boggling why I can load it and you can't.
I think we'll have to wait for someone more knowledgeable on the subject.

Re: My forum has disappeared
I would have thought that other forumotion pages wouldn't load if it was a browser problem and I am on the internet fine as I am posting here. If it was just my mac I would think it was some mac fault maybe (not sure how it could be tho when everything else is fine) but its my phone too!. Thank you Derri for trying to help but I hope someone can answer this problem for me soon as I can't monitor anything or do anything and we only set this forum up recently to replace a pro boards forum that was full of glitches.
screenshot of what I get.
I have now installed firefox and still the totally blank page but everything else is fine and loading...

It loads fine for me, too. Have you tried clearing your browser's cache?

You still have not said if you cleared your browsers' caches.

Re: My forum has disappeared
Hi again
I have deleted all cookies
I have reset Safari This is what resetting Safari does...
Choose Safari > Reset Safari.
Deselect any items you don’t want to reset:
Clear history: Clears the list of webpages you viewed, empties caches, removes website icons, and clears the list of recent searches. Also clears the Java website settings list of websites set to Block Always.

Re: My forum has disappeared
Hi No I only have one computer - it is a brand new iMac about 3 months old - everything works perfectly on it. all websites load. this website loads. this website loads on safari and on firefox. another forumotion forum, ie rescueaidforanimals.forumotion.com loads on both browsers. my internet connection is fine. all cookies cleared, all browing history cleared, cache emptied (although as I just installed firefox tonight in response to this problem, there isn't really a cache there to empty) computer shut down and restarted. computer checked for software updates.
i honestly don't see how just one website, ie my forum is not recognized by my computer as existing all of a sudden tonight.
I am going to bed now as I am completely stumped and hope that by magic it will clear overnight. I will let you know the situation in the morning tho i fear it will be the same.
Thanks for your help thus far.
there must be some other reason?

Re: My forum has disappeared
What type of Mac do you have. It could be that you need to do a DNS flush as it can clear up any server problems or bugs when trying to get onto a website. If you don't know how to do one then you can post up your Mac make and I can give you instructions here/post a link on how to do one.

Hello,
Try to flush your DNS cache, go to command prompt, and enter this:
See if it will fix the problem.

Re: My forum has disappeared
Thank you so much. The problem was finally solved. One of admins banned an ISP. Seems I share this ISP so it was blocking me. ISP unbanned and full forum back on line. It really had me puzzled.
