Re: Cannot play "You Tube" videos..!
How are you adding them to your post? They are working fine on my forum when I use the Youtube button on the editor.

They were also playing fine on my forum until today...
I was just copying the embed code and pasting it in the forum.. that simple..
But today it just shows a box in the size of the embedded video and nothing else..
The You tube editor works just fine... but I want bigger resolution videos.
That's why I'm using the embed code of You tube.

After sending the video with the Youtube button, you can edit the post and change the size.

Yes, but this is not a way to solve the problem..
Half of my members don't know these tricks... so that's not an option... sorry.

Re: Cannot play "You Tube" videos..!
I noticed this the other day. It's actually something wrong with the generated youtube embed code that you get from the youtube website:
If you look closely there is no "http:" in the source url. If you add it, it works fine. If you put the link in through the button on the editor toolbar, that works as well.
- Code:
<iframe width="480" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/dQw4w9WgXcQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Re: Cannot play "You Tube" videos..!
This is not a problem with Forumotion, but with Youtube. The embedded code is dropping the http part in the code. You need to manually add it to the code when you post it on your forum.

Thank you Bob, the little error you spotted is the fix!
