Post length shortened?
A user on my forum has a rather long post & would like to edit it, however, the editor is note showing all of the post. Â Only 2/3 of it is there. Â So if he attempts to edit it, the last 1/3 will be removed.
Is there a way to get around this?
EDIT:
It appears that this sorry excuse of a new editor is cutting it off. Looking at the source code of the page, I can see the entire post content, yet the editor cuts it off. *smh*

Re: Post length shortened?
Could it be that the member is reaching the limit on characters in messages?

Re: Post length shortened?
That is not the case. The post only has 6776 characters (including spaces). I'm certain it has to do with the editor. I'm able to see the entire post when I view page source, though only 2/3 of it is populated in the editor.
I'm able to copy the entire post from page source, then paste it into the editor & make changes & it posts just fine. However, if I preview it, then post (without pasting again) it'll still cut it off. If I don't preview, it posts exactly what I pasted.
Seems to me there is a character limit set on the editor
EDIT:
It appears that the longer post that I was working on earlier was getting cut off because of some misplaced bbcode. The editor didn't like it & said "NO!" Be careful of your bbcode placement people or you might lose your hard earned post
This can be marked as SOLVED.
