Solved Coding Banners

Post by James Covingston July 24th 2013, 5:52 am

Okay, can someone please explain how you code a banner or edit one already on my site? Plus, where do I go to even find all this stuff. I am not sure if all these questions belong in this topic but I figured that sense its all based off coding a banner or editing one already there, I guess they all fit here. Can anyone help? Please?

Administration Panel > Display > Colors & Pictures > Pics Management
Advanced Mode
General/Index Tab
It should be the very first one at the top.

If there is not an image link there or changing the image's link does not work, it means the banner is added by CSS.

Administration Panel > Display > Colors & Pictures > Colors
CSS Stylesheet Tab

You will have to use a graphic program to edit the image, then upload it to a image hosting site, and add the link to your forum. Or yo can request one in the graphics section.

Logo and banner are the same thing.

You can request a banner in the graphics section.  Just state that you want to edit your banner to add text to it.

Is it against the rules to use the original image for the logo and give them a copy of said image? and then explain where on the image I would like the text edited and to what?

If it is the original image, you can modify it or remove it. You can ask for it to be modified.
