DNS settings on domain name
I'm looking at hosting a game server ( minecraft ) on the domain name of auv2.net
I've been told that I need to find someone who can edit the DNS settings of the domain.
Seeing as I've registered the name through forumotion ( who go through godaddy ) who would I need to talk to, in order to get this done.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: DNS settings on domain name
I'm paying a third party to host a game server
I want it to connect via the domain name AuV2.net, registered to me through forumotion.
I'm fairly new at this, but still want it to happen.

Re: DNS settings on domain name
sorry about the bump, wasn;t sure of the time.
and no, I'm trying to link something from this domain away to another hosting thing.
I'm setting up a minecraft server, and it can run off the IP auv2.net if the dns settings are changed, when connecting via port 25566 ( I think it's that port )

Re: DNS settings on domain name
I decided to email the people at GoDaddy about if they can change it, when I don't have propper ownership, here is the reply.
Edit; about below. was about to post to say sorry, but that would kinda go against the message itself.

Thank you for contacting Online Support. I understand you are trying to update DNS for your domain. If your domain is currently managed through another provider, Forumotion, and you do not have access to the DNS, you will need to contact them directly for DNS updates.
Please let us know if we can assist you in any other way.
Sincerely,

This can be closed now.
I'm still curious, but no longer need a solution.
