Solved Difference Between Blog and Forum

Hello, i was just scouring through my admin panel, and i noticed there's a "blog" option...
when i created a "blog" instead of a "forum", it was the exact same thing... the only thing that was different was the little logo

is there like a format differene between the 2? does the portal have to be on for the blog format to show up correctly?

Posting blog comments is different. It also appears differently than regular posts.
