Domain from another host
Hello.
I want to know if it's possible to have my domain name transferred to another host (instead of forumotion).
I searched about it but couldn't find a definite answer.
How am I meant to do this?
Thank you.

I don't think that works, I will have to wait until it expires. But when it expires, and if I buy from another host, would I be able to connect it to my forum?

I also think it won't work, Yes you may connect domain name purchased outside forumotion.
In advance here's the tutorial of it: https://help.forumotion.com/t7021-redirect-an-extern-domain-name-that-you-own-to-your-board

Of course it works.
Edit: you can see the date 2007 posted but if they added some features they'll just edit it. So you'll be thinking that this topic is old, but yet no they are just updating it.

I know that just wanted to make sure if it really works because I've read around that doesn't.
