Post reply of a user in different tables
Hi..
I wonder if it's possible to change the forum table in posty reply to this in my forum, the post of a user to be in differrent tables with the other post!! you have an example on forumotion support forum, each post of a user is in differrent table from the other one, here's how it looks like in my forum : http://islamishendrit.halofight.com/t230-program-fjalor-komentimi-i-endrrave-ne-baze-te-islamit#314
Here's a screenshot example how I want it to be:

Re: Post reply of a user in different tables
Hi
You mean for all users? I believe that can be done through ACP < Display < Colors:
Table Row Color 1 :
Table Row Color 2 and highlight :
Table Row Color 3 and separation
Just change those for each. If you want the background for staff, you could just search it here since a lot of topics were made for it already .

Exactly they are different colors to make them appear separate.

No, you dont quite get it, Im trying to add sepearation in the bottom of each post, so each post of a user will be in differrent table from the other, you can see here for example

.forumline .row1, .forumline .row2, .forumline .row3, .forumline .row3Right {
border-top: 1px solid rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.47);
}

Hi
That's where my comment comes in from the post I deleted. It's standard for phpBB2 to be like that and the only thing I can suggest is that to play with the templates

Change the color part to the color that is around the message:
- Code:
rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.47)

Re: Post reply of a user in different tables
Hi
Not even adding margin or padding worked . Why am I sad? Lol, anyway, try finding in your templates that involve tbody and add <br /> tags and see if that works. If it does not, then as I said, it's phpBB2 standard .

Re: Post reply of a user in different tables
Hi
To specify, if you really want that area remove, you can use font-size: 0px !important:
That won't entirely solve your problem because as I said, it's standard for phpBB2 (Lack of selectors). You can try to modify it in the template as I have, but none of the methods I did worked and just made my test forum ugly.

Re: Post reply of a user in different tables
Hi
Smh. The area's too general . It will affect not only the post but also the ones below or possibly in the homepage. But if you want that, this is the code to be used for them:
Change the style if you want. The problem is, phpBB2 is so general that you can barely find anything about it. If you wanna persist with this, you should check the templates and spot for anything that has row1 or row2 in it and declare an independent ID/Class so you can add that in the CSS.
Regards,
Pizza Boi
- Code:
.row1, .row2 {
border-bottom: 10px solid #F00;
border-radius: 0px 0px 50px 50px;
}

Re: Post reply of a user in different tables
can you experiment something in my test forum, play around with the templates until we make something like this:
I MEAN NOT THE COLOR BUT THE TABLE SEPERATION OF REPLY OF EACH USER, THERE HAS TO BE A WAY TO SEPERATE THOSE TABLES, EVERY POST ON DIFFERENT TABLE

First Reminder:
Please avoid using caps as it is considered as screaming and is very hard to read.

Hi
It would definitely be easier for us since we're using punBB but I doubt it would work with the viewtopic_body template you have, lol. Play around with it and remind me to make a tutorial about this lol.
