Password when posting images
Hi All
I seem to be going around in circles when trying to post an image.
I open the Host an image box, Select Browse, Find the image on my computer, Open the image and press the Host It button after a few seconds a new box opens asking for my Username & Password...... enter these Browse for an image again, press Host It same thing again. I am logged in as Admin, I even just tried to post an image to this Post and it did the same thing.
My Forum has been going for 2 years never had this issue before

Re: Password when posting images
What exactly happens after you press the open button in the pop up box when you locate the image on your computer?

Re: Password when posting images
So after you press the host it button, a page does not appear that has links?

Yes After I press host it, Instead of the 3 link options coming up I just get a serverimage login box asking for U/N & P/W when I enter U/N and P/W I got back to the Browse for an image box and the whole process repeats again. It's like Servimage is not working for me.

Hi,
I'll mention this to our Pro Admin, there could be a bug.
Just to clarify.
When on your computer, you log into servming and then go to upload your pic and then you're redirected to the log in page again?

Yep, I have 3 Forum motion Forums I have the problem on everyone of them, When I press Host It a box pops up asking me to login to Servimage, so I log in and back to posting the image, press Host It and again the box pops up.
I even tried to upload an Image / screenshot onto this Forum and got the same result, I think it's a Servimage problem not an issue with the Forum

Re: Password when posting images
So this is when you're using the servming host it option on the editor? Not the actual site?

Hi,
It sounds like a bug so that's why I'm try to confirm all the details. I submitted a bug report yesterday but I'm just wanting to make sure we have all the details possible as it speeds up the process of determining if its a bug or not and then possible fixes.
I've got all the details now. In the mean time I'd try using the servming website instead of the 'Host it' button on the editor

Hello,
It sounds more like a conflict between your browser cookies!
Now back to your forum and try to upload an image. Do you still have the problem?

Can you give me a test please: Empty all your browser cookies and cache. Then, go directly to the servimg.com site and login with your login + password. Then try to upload an image. Do you have the same problem?DaveG wrote:Yep, I have 3 Forum motion Forums I have the problem on everyone of them, When I press Host It a box pops up asking me to login to Servimage, so I log in and back to posting the image, press Host It and again the box pops up.
