Re: Forum name lenght limit?
I believe that there is a limit as to how many characters you can have in your domain as the link has to allow the .forumotion extension. You could always buy a personalized domain name through a domain host or through ForuMotion with credits which will allow a longer name without the .forumotion extension.
Hope this helps you out.

Re: Forum name lenght limit?
That message means that the domain name you are trying to use is already being used by another ForuMotion site so you and that site cannot have the same domain name so yours has to be changed slightly. There is no way around that.

You could try using a different extension: forumotion, etc.

Yes I understand what you mean....but this message is refering to the name which is incomplete (without the ng)....not the name Lightworkers connecting.
mayby the way i was doing it to correct it is not the right way.
I tryed that but i will have a other look..... I´m not sure of all the steps that i have to do.Sl Grey wrote:You could try using a different extension: forumotion, etc.

Re: Forum name lenght limit?
Is that the name you used when you created the forum?

Re: Forum name lenght limit?
Hello Essence3,
I have run a test of changing the domain name to what you are wanting and there is a limit as to how long the domain name can be. The domain name came out to be lightworkersconnecti.forumotion.com so the "ng" of the domain still does not show. Thus showing that there is indeed a limit but at the moment, we cannot change this limit, it would have to be done by the technicians or by the Administration.
At least we can confirm that it isn't the extension but that it is a character limit.
