viewing users in admin panel

When I click on a member in A/P it flashes their username and then changes to my username for everyone . Why is that ? Is that normal ?

I am the only administrator , and have 2 moderators .

Does this occur in Users and Groups > Search Users or the entire Administration Panel ?

Hmm a username should not flash in the ACP it should only change color to say its a link could you send me a test account in a pm to me with a link to your forum that has admin rights so i can see this for my self.

This is how I see other peoples profile . pdb1 is myself ( admin ) if you look further down you will see that this is actually MGROZA's profile . Is this normal ? If not , how do I correct it . What I meant by flash is that when I click a username it shows that username for 1 second before changing to mine .

Ok . I didn't know that and I can't edit it out . So can you answer me ?

You should have blocked out the email address.

the way I was sure that I became founder was i replce his entire profile with my informstionn .then deleted my ptofile . Yhat made me able to to buy creditd etc

you should never post yours or anyone else emails in public people can use them to gain access to your forum or your email...

Create a admin account

logout of your forum create a new account "name it something like testacct or testing user"

you can use a fake email to create this account

once the acct is created don't worry about approving it through email we can approve it in the acp

now log back into your founder account

goto

acp>users&groups>users>inactive Users

check the box beside the new account you created and click activate

now goto

acp>users&groups>Group Administration

click the Edit

on the row with administrators

scroll down to where it says Group Members

type in the name of the new account you created and click add member

now send APE in a private message the info for the account ..the login name and password

Dude I try to follow your rules . I don't intentionally do any harm . All I do is request help Do what you gotta do . I will too . I use the edit button frequently . Wouldn't know if I double or even triple posted .

Hi sorry its took me a long time to get back to you on this matter i have had a number other other things to do aswell as working on here.

ok when putting the mouse pointer on the members username it don't flash it only highlights its self like is meant to as it's a link to there profile other then that i see nothing else wrong with your ACP see in red in this screen shot Wink

if this is not what you are talking about please send me in a pm a screen shot of the page you are looking at and the browser you are using that has this problem.

I believe he means when he presses the username it happens. The profile has his username.
