Solved Requesting new users address on sign up

Hi Guys, 

Am a newbie to this, so please go easy. 

This is a forum for a local community, so for every new user, I would like to request the users address as part of the sign up process so that I know they are part of this community. I would like to make it a compulsory field which I will be able to see.

Is their any way of doing this?

Administration Panel > Users & Groups > Users > Profiles
Contact Tab
Email Address (Modify it and check the yes box for necessary filled.)

Sorry, when I say address, I mean the postal address.

I would like to be able to see the users email and postal address.

You  will have to create a customized profile field and check the yes box for necessary filled.
