why was I asked for confirmation???
Hi guys ...I was busy posting new topics in one of my categorys and it started asking me for a confirmation code and when I filled it in my post was all funny...Instead of changing the colours and making it bold etc it has the word colour in brackets etc...Is it normal for it to ask for a confirmation code after 5 or 6 topics are posted and if yes is there a way to stop it and should the confirmation have that effect if not how do I fix it It started all of a sudden so am guessing I had hit a quota but is a weeny bit annoying that it keeps affecting the post

It shows when guest posting. Maybe you were logged out for some reason and posting as guest I think.

Its more likely due to some language you were using, there is some words that are auto detected to be spam.
An example would be: Viagra
No matter how old your account is or if you're a mod or admin, you'll still get an conformation.

This also comes on line when you make a number of posts faster then the spam system reads so if you make a number of 5 or more posts in less then a time frame then this will kick in i have just tested it on my forum and found it doing it. I'm not 100% sure what the time limit is thou (i think its a matter of something like 5 posts in less then 2 mins)
