Notifications aren't working properly
I have notifications enabled on my forum; however, they're not working - or haven't been working as of recently to be precise.
A Moderator brought this to my attention the other day when he told me that the notifications haven't been working. I checked the AP and everything seems fine, I also had him check his notifications options and It was fine as well. I asked few others and they all reported the same problem.
We have a good number of our members using the notifications instead of browsing the forum when they're on their phones, It makes their life easier.
Anyway to fix it?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Notifications aren't working properly

Re: Notifications aren't working properly
Well, I'm receiving them and I open from my laptop so yea I think It's only not showing for people who use the system from their phones.
However, it only shows "Notifications" instead of "Notifications(2)" for example. It doesn't show how many new notifications what I mean.

Do you have JavaScripts? If yes, turn off JavaScript Management and see if the issue disappears.

Re: Notifications aren't working properly
Is there a particular JS that could be interfering with it? We have literally tons of JS in our website, I can't just disable all of them.
Re: Notifications aren't working properly
You will have to turn it off and see first.

Re: Notifications aren't working properly
Just go to the Java page and at the top of the page tick NO then Save Don't worry this will just turn them off not delete anything.
If it works then we know its a code messing about with it and not our systems.

Well I'm not sure what did it, but it seems to have been fixed: http://prntscr.com/75v3mc
I didn't disable the JS or anything. It just....happened.
Any idea why it didn't show before?
I checked the AP logs and none of the other admins did anything.
