Hello
Every forum has its own rules. So, we cannot answer. You should ask to your administrator.
Thanks
There has to be a better answer to this question than " we cannot answer " . Lol .

I am a moderator on my forum and I am looking for help to understand what my role is and what functions do I have to for warning users about bad behaviour in the forum?

You can warn, and you're expected to keep the peace and have others follow all rules. As for banning, banning a user from the forum is something only admins can do. Provided you have the clearance, you can ban those who break the rules from the chatbox, if there is one. This is the most I know, considering, as they said, all forums are different. But I've moderated many times, and that is my takeaway from it.

Yes . That was someone else's question . Mine is more specific about actual definitions of what various moderators should do or could do . But I guess that would be just too forum specific per forum and would be a trial and error period while one figures out what should be expected or not expected . I can see it is a very difficult topic to answer . I guess I was hoping there were some sort of pre written guidelines or suggestions somewhere .

This is not a support question. Each forum defines staff groups differently, so the best thing to do is ask the founder of the forum.
