Putting Adsense ads on my forum

Hi! I had paid to remove forumotion ads from my forum so I decided to put adsense ads instead. 
My account got accepted and I added code to forum and portal but I see just blank spaces not ads.

Did I enter code in the wrong place? 
For forum I put my code in Generalities
For portal I created widget and copied code in there.

Part of your problem is that your google ads code completely makes a new page basically. I looked at your code and you have multiple html, head, and body tags. This is inheriting everything from your CSS stylesheet, so whatever attributes you have is contributing to it not showing. try adding your code to an HTML page in your forum, and go to that page and see if it works.

I think I created it and copied the code but still I don't see ads. If I put some text below I see that but ads doesn't show.

Are you using the correct codes for forums?

There were just two codes - Asynchronous and Synchronous. 

I believe both can be used for forums but anyway I have tried both, none of them worked.

So you have the code twice on your forum?  Remove the one from the portal.

Ok, I changed something I don't know exactly what though but it started working
