Removing forumotion links from the footer of the forum?

Hi, i got a couple of questions about removing the forumotion links from the footer(bottom) of the forum:

A: I've seen a forum just today with all forumotion links removed from the footer, i think that's possible via the templates, etc
B: Is that even allowed?

The only way you can remove them without violating the ToS is via credits purchased. I've removed the above forum as its not your forum.

Removing links via CSS, Templates, or hiding them with images or stuff like that is against the ToS.

How would i know if they donated credits for it or not? because if not i'm willing to file up a report against that forum

You can't and its none of your bussiness. From what I can tell from the screenshot, it was done via credits. I can tell this because

A. The PHPbb link is still there
B. The report an abuse link is still there


Someone trying to hide them would likely hide this as well and probably have left others uncovered.

The point is that the only legal way to remove it is via credits. As the forum is not yours, it is not your concern to worry about their forum administrative bussiness.

We have told how you can and can not do it.
