Registering Users

For some odd reason, when new people try to register for my forum it says multiple times that their username is already taken by another but I only have nine people on my forum. On top of that one of them said they had problems with it saying their e-mail was already in use by a current member... which goes back to me having only nine members.

Suggestions on what might be causing this?

I've had this problem before, but I do know how to fix it.

AP > General > Security 


Then find:


Unauthorize subscriptions made with the most commonly used spam usernames.



Select: No.
