Founder email issues.
Hello.
I'm the admin and current founder of my forum http://www.bronyhangout.net/ and there is a thread we'd like to get back via the backup system in the utilities section but the problem is that our original founder is no longer around with no means to contact him and I've taken over as the owner of the forum after him.
However I don't know the founder email used to create the forum and he might have changed it after making the forum as per your recommendations so I'm wondering if there's any chance of me as the current founder being able to get to know what email it was so I can access the backup of my forum and restore the thread?
The thread hold great sentimental value to us and it was accidentally deleted by auto pruning when no one posted in it for a long time and we'd really like to get it back so we can store it for a look back at our forum over the past 3 years.

Re: Founder email issues.
We can not give out the email of the founder account. If the founder has been gone for 6 months and 1 day, you can request the founder account.

Well I have access to the founder account for myself on the forum so is there anyway I can find out for myself what password and such to use to log into utilities? Keeping in mind the founder accounts email has been changed to one I can access after I took over the account.

@SLGray I think he means that the old founder passed on the ownership and founder duties to the topic starter and then left for good. The thing is that because the utilities operate off a seperate password and emails then the forum account, the old founder didnt know this and so didnt think to pass on that info.

Yes that'd pretty much be spot on.
Re: Founder email issues.
bump issue still not solved and as Brandon_g pointed out the old founder didn't pass on the forum founding information to me and I have no way of contacting him as we're not friends nor do I know his irl name.
I have full access to the founder account on my forum and would like to know if there's anyway of acquiring the forum founding information as the new founder.
