Description of problem

We have re-branded, No longer use the domain name 360chaos.net
and do not want it to be our domain.
I let it lapse, did not click renew. However it auto-renewed.

I would like to know how to purchase the domain 360chaos.net
So that way I can have the old domain forward to the new domain.

We still use the forum wearechaos.niceboard.org

If I well understand the problem. You bought a domain name via Forumotion (360chaos.net). But you would like to remove this domain name to use forum.wearechaos.net (which is an external domain name to Forumotion?). If you bought the domain name outside our service, you can use forum.wearechaos.net as Cname.

In that case, we can remove 360chaos.net and we can make a 301 redirection
pointed to forum.wearechaos.net

MUMMM the problem is you cannot have 2 domain names for one forum. One forum = One domain name
We can only create a redirection !

Exact. But we don't transfer domain name outside as you can read on this announcement. The only solution is to remove the domain name and wait the domain name be public.

Sorry for the late reply. I've sent a request for removing 360chaos.net domain name and make a 301 redirection to wearechaos.niceboard org (like that you won't lose your traffic if some members still enter the old domain name). I'll let you know as soon as it is done.
