Can I change the chatbox from homepage to mainpage?

Excuse me for not being terribly tech/savvy or script-literate but if there's a way to do what I want, it isn't apparent to me.

I would like to know if it's possible to make it so that everyone, including guest can see the chatbox. Currently the chatbox is only view-able to those who've logged in.

It's not possible with the current Forumotion's Chatbox but there are plenty of other free chatboxes out there around the web that you can install on your index that allow guests to see as well. One I am very familiar with is a SHOUTBOX.

Can shoutbox be connected to the site in a way that will allow users to use the same login information they do for the site? Like, when they log in to the chatbox can it be made to log them into the site as well?

The Shoutbox acts like a plug-in and because guests can see it as well, there ain't no way of knowing who truly is who. Surely it does have you log into it first by simply putting a name but like I said... you don't know who is really who.

This is pathetic...I've been looking for a place to past the code of the shoutbox for an hour now.... Did I miss something or what?

You can add it to a widget, in the homepage message, in a topic, or in an announcement.
