In progress chatbox, turn off auto clear

Can i change the settings of the chatbox that it doenst clear after x mins but just keep like 50 lines and clear the oldest after a new one is typed ?

Hi there,

The chatbox doesn't clear itself after a certain amount of time. It only clears by moderators and when it gets to full capacity with messages. When that happens, it simply deletes the oldest message to make room for new ones.

i cannot see my messages from before, when i login in the chat now its all gone

i will check now if i can still see them tommorow

thats kinda the thing, i dont want them to move to archive directly.
only like number 51 gets autoarchive but the last 50 stay in the chat

Sorry but this is one of the things we do to save on server slowdowns
there is no way to change this sorry.
