E mail notification not solved
My member, quinnsgrandma31, still is not getting e mail notifications on the forums/topics she is watching.
No one else is having this problem.
With the help I got earlier from here and all that' I've done we still have the problem.
Does anyone have further instructions or ideas on how to solve the issue at hand?

Thanks

Re: E mail notification not solved
embarqmail.com
She was getting notifications and then it just stopped. I've suggested using a different browser as well as being sure her cookies and Internet History has been cleared. We've done as we were instructed to before.
I'm at a loss. Everything that needs to be ticked off in her preferences and in the ACP are right.
Thanks

Re: E mail notification not solved
Does she share this email with others? If yes, could it be that someone is deleting the emails before she sees them?

Re: E mail notification not solved
I'll ask her but, I'm sure that's not the case. She doesn't strike me as someone who would have a shared e mail account. Of course I could be wrong.
Re: E mail notification not solved
sounds to me that her Email host is blocking the Emails we send out.
I have seen this happen with yahoo some time back.
What you can do is ask her to change the Email address of the account to something like Hotmail, outlook, or Gmail.

Re: E mail notification not solved
She tells me it's working again. Not sure if telling her to delete forum cookies did the trick our not. I've a feeling it was her e mail host as you are suggesting.
Thanks for your help.

Re: E mail notification not solved
I would say its the Email address as removing cookies will not do nothing the thing is the cookies have nothing to do with our system sending Emails to you as your browser is not sending the data we are..
If it was me i would still tell the member to change the Email address to something like gmail

Re: E mail notification not solved
But deleting the forum's cookies could affect the notification system.

@APE that is correct. It will only affect things on the forum.
