Hello,
If you have disabled the advertisements, no ads should be displayed.
However, as far as I feel, those advertisements do not look like Forumotion's ads. Have you added any JavaScript or HTML codes lately? In addition, do you allow HTML codes in messages (ACP(Admin Control Panel) > General > Messages and e-mails > Configuration > Messages > Allow HTML)?
