Solved Retrieving an account

Post by Anzo 17/11/2016, 02:22

One of my admins mistakengly deleted an account, is there any mean, any possible, remotely possible means, no matter what it is, to retrieve it? even if it cost credits or whatever, the account was really important.

I do have access to the founder account, that I do. However, the forum was created back in 2008, it's 8 years old already, and the founder might not recall his founding email and password. If that is indeed the case, what are my other options?

I do have the founder account and email if that is what you mean. However, the email hasn't been used since the creation of the forum and might simply not exist anymore.

If you're referring to "Are you the founder himself" then no I'm not, I'm simply the fella running the forum after the founder had lost interest in the board. And that is when he provided me with his founder account. I emailed him and asked him to try and recall his founder email password, and he's running attempts while we're speaking to get the correct password.

But speaking objectively, i doubt he'd recall some password he used 8 years ago. Hence I was asking about my other options onto how to possibly run a back up some other way.
