do you mean sub forum linking or subject or url? if your saying hide forum links for guest you can't unless you go to permissions for a category or topic ypu can hide topics via by going to Administration CP then Category an topic thrn click permissions you can setup which sees a topic or category like hide it from guests seeing it

register is always on top were the header an navigation is below the banner you can't hide register to guest at all in Administration cp . usually when a member signs in they see Log out as usual

you can see the header an navigation url link by
1 going to admin cp
2 then click or tab Display
3 in this section find  Homepage
under next find Headers & Navigation
The information below will allow you to personalize the header of your forum.
this here is the main urls like log out an register are
you can move were you want it to be like left or right or center
if your really good you can add like portals to different things like extra forum stuff or another site if you wish

hideing register to guest would not allow new members to your forum if you removed it but you can turn off new members form registering in administration cp. Unless a member that is logged in an sees register is still in the header a navigation bar then that is odd

I am checking your forum do you mean the pop up box that has Log in register ? because you can easily click or tab don't show again it will not pop up again unless cookies are cleared. pop up box is helpful for members that are confused were register is normaly in header an navigation bar

oh thats simple you want a basic url in a topic thats easy now I see. Well for basic posting threads its easy the code is
Code:
 [url]http://example.com[/url]
you can also place a commen url in a main category topic by doing it like this

Step 1. Go to admin cp if your the founder.
Step 2. Go to General, Next while in the Tab go to Categories and forums
Step 3. Click any topic forum within the category. In the topic or forum message box place the code [url]link here[/url] what url bbcode does is add a url to forum topic saying register example

so you can do a category forum topic or thread post to do like this http://forumrr.forumotion.eu/register example both work the same way

you can also place the code as well in the Login popup screen to show
if you want do it advanced you can do Links are defined with the <a> tag:
Code:
<a href="url">link text</a>
what this html code does is you can place your register link url an make the url into a simple text

I hope I exampled to my best ability Very Happy
