Solved Notifying when there is a new thread open

Not sure if I am in the right place, but a member on my forum asked if there is a way to be notified when a new subject pops up in a certain thread. I know that is you make a comment in a thread when new comments pop up you get e-mail notifications. But can you get those e-mail notifications when a new thread you have not commented in is posted?
