cant create a new forum

I have been trying to create a new forum today and it keeps telling me that
Sorry, it looks like xxxxxxxxxxx belongs to an existing account.
even when I created an entirely new email address.

Also where is the option for having a .co.uk address

Hello @Flappypaddles

Some emails are banned by Forumotion to avoid spammers. If the email is from gmail there shouldn't be any problem.

I have a couple of forums using hotmail accounts. Can you have more than one forum under the same email?

No, you can only have ONE email account for each forum Smile

can I be a member of one forum and create my own forum with the same email address?

Yes that's for sure. What I mean is that, if you own one forum, you can't own another with the same email account.

This is not the case if you're a member. As member you can use the same email address for every single forum if you want Wink

Also you can be a member with the email X and create a forum with that X email.

well I dont see why I cant create a forum with an email that allows me to be a member of a different forum.
I am not trying to create it with one that is already used for a forum I run.

right I have just created a new gmail account and it still says it is associated with another account.

Please send me a PM with the email that you are trying to create a forum with.

Creation email - only one per forum (no 2 forums can have the same creation email)

Creating an account on forum - can use the same one on different forums

I have sent you a pm, I created that email a couple of hours ago specifically for the new forum, it has never been used
