Looking For Ideas To Upgrade An Old Board

I am looking for ideas to upgrade the look of an old board I have had a while.
I have found a skin that I can play round with the colours,
I am looking for a background skin with screencappingzone in Olde English in a wave maybe in sky blue similar to the header

Buttons that relate to TV, camera, lights, microphone, clapper board and sissors for edit

Yes I am asking about graphics, I was going to add relating to the header and avatar that I attempted to do myself, before your reply. Can these be improved, the colour is off microsoft word, howver these are the blue colours I am using to be the closest to the header colour
