How to edit a post after posting?

Hello and Greetings, I'm not new to forumotion, I have been away for several years. Since being gone I found there to be many changes. So I just wanted to ask:

How can I activate the edit post option for members of my forums?

It seems once I post a topic I can no longer find a way to edit that post. Lets say I make a typo and want to fix that typo, how can I do this?

Hey there,
This is a permission you need to set in forums' permissions.



There's also a setting in Messages and emails: Configuration which allows you to set the "post edit duration limit for a member".

I feel so dumb, it's been a while So I had all the boxes checked for each forum for members to edit or delete. But what I didn't have was the icons on their post to be able to do that. It's fixed and thanks to you I was able to figure out why.

Trust me, that's something that happened and still happens to quite many admins. The fact you could figure that out by yourself confirms you're not dumb at all; this is the kind of thing that would have taken me hours to figure out.
