Copyright/Litigation Issue - Need Help

Hi there,

I'm in need of assistance as the litigation report hasn't worked as far as I know.

I'm having an issue with a user uploading and using my work without my permission, they have cropped it and written over it, (I have a screenshot and link, I don't know if I would be allowed to post it publicly to avoid callout) and they refuse to take it down. I filed a litigation but nothing has come of it. Is there anything else I can do, or do I just have to wait and continue to see this person use and deface my artwork? I think I remember saying to wait about 5 days, and then contact someone? I don't recall 100%.

I would really appreciate any help in this matter.

you made a report abuse or a declare litigation?
if you made a litigation be aware it can take a couple of weeks for our team to get to the report since they get a lot of reports, which they have to look through each one by hand and that takes time

Basically, when a litigation report is made, a copy of the report is sent to both forumotion and the administrator of the site... once the litigation team has viewed the report, they will review the forum to ensure all it's contents are ok with forumotion TOS... if it is no action will be taken.....

if it is minor then they will give a warning with a countdown, the forum must be in compliance by the time that countdown ends or they will delete the forum. ...
if it is serious (porn) they will delete the forum immediately with no warning

now since we do not deal with litigation reports, that is between the forum in question and our litigation team, there is no need to open a thread here

Okay, that helps. I filed a litigation report. I'll marked this as solved now and delete this and keep an eye on the forum.
