Single quote button keeps quoting all quotes already quoted when quoting a members comments.

Description of problem

When you press quote on a members comments to reply, you only get the one set of comments as the quote.

When you press the quote button on a members comments that already has a quote box in it, it quotes the comments and the previous quote, or numerous previous quotes.

Can it be made to only quote the members comments/post, and not the previous quote box in the members comments as well.

First of all welcome to the English support forum

Yes when making a Quote of a post it will only Quote what ever is on the page you are Quoting.

So if there is a post with a Quote already in t then you will see both on your quote.
The multi Quote works by pressing the button on each comment you want to quote then you will need to press the Add reply button it will then give you all you have quoted.

sadly there is no way to stop it quoting only the one part unless you go to the main post without the quote.

Maybe someone can work on that ready for the next maintenance or upgrade, it can be annoying, and it takes up unwanted space.
