The ability to make custom activation emails?
Here's a nice suggestion, the possibility to write up your own custom activation emails with the ability to include your own images (like a mascot or pictures of the forum) or different flavor text along with links to your forums official twitter or other site. It's just a suggestion that I'd think will improve the customization of your own forum!

Re: The ability to make custom activation emails?
This does sound good but I think it would be a little like our news letter system and sadly the news letter system is a little slow at times so i think it would only make things much more slower.
So I would have to vote NO sorry.

Activation emails go through the Forumotion database if each one fill it with images and links and others would not come nuncva to the users, to other saturate the servers, my vote is negative, and I do not think Forumotion implemented this in the forums.
Re: The ability to make custom activation emails?
I think that a well organized written welcome or verification message is enough. This is because in experience outside forumotion with game emails or even promotion emails, some devices might not be able to load the email well, as @Ape mentioned. An activation email with basic information about the website and useful links to rules and important guides would be enough for me. Images would make the email more appealing, though most of the appeal should come from the website alone. I vote no.
