User problem after changing the password from the admin panel
Hello, again in our forum there is a problem. One of the admins changed the character's name and password from the admin panel and is now unable to log in to this account.
I took his email and password and gave the account a forgotten password. Then I changed the password after clicking the link in the email. He entered the profile of the character in question with me. But the admin, who has the hero with the new password, does not let him log in again.
Can you point me to what the problem might be? And possibly how to solve it?

Re: User problem after changing the password from the admin panel
Hello when you change the Password on the ACP are you making sure the member is typing it 100% right and not trying to copy and paste the New password?
The reason i ask this is sometimes our system will add a space in the password when you copy and paste it so the member should always type the password as it is when you changed it.
also why was you changing the password for the member why did they not use the I forgot my password?

I am absolutely sure that the user writes the new password correctly and does not copy and paste it.
The problem here is that I manage to log in to the user's account with the new password, and he fails. And he gets the message wrong user or password.
This is what happened in this case.

There is new information on the problem - The user was able to LOG IN to his account by COPYING his username. But he CANNOT come in when he writes it, although there is no difference.
Why does this happen?

Maybe it is something on the members browser settings
Advice him/ her to clear cache/history and update the browser

Re: User problem after changing the password from the admin panel
He did it yesterday and there was no change. Now it is done by copying the name of the character, but not by writing it. Is it possible that there is a bug?
Re: User problem after changing the password from the admin panel
Okay give this a try it may help ask the member to click on the username field then ask them to press the backspace key to see if there is a space before they type some browsers do this for no reason and no one knows why.
I had this problem last year on this support forum but it was ok on others but it was not the the user name it was the password one.

It's not that. We tried this a long time ago.
But let's close the topic, it will probably get better after a while on its own.
