Security Alert

Good afternoon, your assistance is required.

I am appointed moderator for https://jillhavern.forumotion.net/

For the past 48 hours these two security alerts have been flashing-up on my laptop screen every second from Bitdefender total security, if I disconnect the VPN it seems to work fine but with the VPN connected.

Please note: This only happens on fora hosted by forumotion!

They are advertisements of a VPN that sure is free, and I will inform you of things you do not have, just to pay for the VPN of payment. Do not pay attention, most of these payment applications, such as free antivirus, They give a false information so that you buy your products. Your forum is safe, do not worry, besides, you say it takes away the VPN and disappears.

As soon as I posted on here I had a message from Bitdefender, they have resolved the problem by updating their product.

Hello,

This alert is linked to the cookie banner supplier (Sirdata). There is no danger and their team is working with Bitdefender to remove this alert.

Unfortunately on our side, we can only wait for a resolution of this bad detection.

I was very concerned about possible dangers aside from the annoyance and distraction of the pop-up alert every second.
