Advice on when to prune (delete) old posts
Our forum is busy and we have accumulated over 2 million posts. My concern is whether this many posts will slow-down or otherwise affect the forum. We do not prune (delete) posts, we send everything to the basket & seldom delete anything. I personally haven't had any problems other than sometimes not getting a PM or notification, but I am not sure that has anything to do with the plethora of posts, lol.
We would rather not delete old posts unless necessary. So if it does not make a difference, then we will let them be.
Any advice would be greatly welcome, thank you!

Hi,
Keep up that way, your forum wont slow down if you have many posts (else we would already know about it)We would rather not delete old posts unless necessary.
