Email from forum that I did not send

Description of problem

I looked to where this should be and can't figure it out, so hope this is the right place.

Today I got an email from my forum that say it's a newsletter.

I did not send this out as an email or as a push notification, but I got it and at least some of my members got it. My forum really isn't even opened yet. My members from my other forum joined a year ago and no activity was being done by them in this forum. I have no idea how the email that is full of advertisements was sent out. There are only 2 people that were at the forum today. One was me and the other was a member that came in after she got the email and wanted to know what it is.

How and why would this type of email be sent out automatically? Or however it got sent out? Does this forum auto sent things like this? I am really upset about this because it is like a spam email that says it came from my forum.

I looked through my ACP and can't find anything that would have been checked to send out an auto email. I have a free forum so only get 1 newsletter a month, I sure wouldn't waste it on spam.

I hope you can figure this out, because my members are not happy with this spam and neither am I.
