Is It Possible To Change Email Address For Members

Hello

I received a pm from a member that wished to change their currant email address on my old site to a new email address

I am fairly sure that email addresses cannot be changed or updated However the only way is to delete this members account and for them to create a new account with their new email address.

Any advice will be most appreciated

Good evening!

Allow users to change their email address: AP - Users & Groups - Users options - Allow members to change their email address : Yes - Save.

With this option enabled, users will be able to change their email address in their profile (Information tab)

Or you yourself, as administrator, can change the user's email address: AP - Users & Groups - Users management - Find the user you need - E-mail address

You are obliged by the GDPR https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/HTML/?uri=CELEX:32016R0679&from=ES
to modify or delete any data that any user requests, either do it directly from the AP or as it told you, activating the option that each one can change it for themselves.

I have adjusted the admin panel so that the member can add new email address, which they have done this evening.
