HELP PLEASE QUESTION ABOUT BANNING

Someone is spamming in our website and i cant I.P. ban them because i look in the faq and it says to right of anything they posted there is no ip button their so i cannot get their i.p.. please help before it spreads!!!

if they are currently online...
go to your admin cp...
in the "home" page of the admin cp...
you can see there who is currently online...
and there also the IP is given

thats an altternative to the IP button in the users posts

If they are not on online, you can go to a post by them and press the IP address button.
