No forum confirmation email/domain not working?
Sorry guys, I'm new to the forum so I really don't know if this is the correct section or not, but I made my forum and I haven't gotten an email or anything to tell me my forum is now active, and when I try to go to the domain of the forum that I made it says it doesn't exist, I'm sorry if the answer might be right in front of me but I really need to know, the forums are so vast it's like an ocean of text and pixels, I need sleep, so..um..yeah...any of y'all know the answer to my problem? Is it because of the maintenance and server change?

Yes, I remember the server I registered it on, it still didn't work.Shackles wrote:Hmmm... Maybe you changed the server and you forgot what was the server please check it mate..
Yeah, I did, is there a bigger delay time to the confirmation email than most forum providers? I'm too used to an auto-bot. (donotreply, stuff like that)dotDavid wrote:Have you checked your email spam box?

Re: No forum confirmation email/domain not working?
When you set up your forum, did you get a page that gave you the link to your forum?

Actually, when I finished making it I did get redirected to a page, but the page was completely blank. \: I think there might be a error in the servers if I wasn't given a page with the link.slg wrote:When you set up your forum, did you get a page that gave you the link to your forum?

It could be because have the upgrades to the servers. When I finished entering my information to create my forum, I got a page that show my forum link and an email.

Re: No forum confirmation email/domain not working?
I would say no because I bet it will say that the forum name and your email has already been used.

Re: No forum confirmation email/domain not working?
Can you please try and visit your site, the one you made.
Don't worry about the email presently, we just need to verify the forum's URL.

I saved the URL link in a text file, I tried visiting it but it gives me an error saying: "The forum *******.forummotion.com doesn't exist.Verify the internet address you typed : *******.forummotion.com,
and try again if there is a mistake.
It is possible that the administrator has chosen to delete it.". I don't feel comfortable releasing the link to it to the public, that's why it is censored.

Re: No forum confirmation email/domain not working?
I understand, it's your privacy & your choice
Ok, Have you, or someone who has access tot he founding account ( User=1 ) moved the forum?
If the forum is new, as in the last 1 - 2 weeks, it may have been accidentally dumped with this server change - If this is the case, then you can only re-create your forum.

No, I'm the only one who has access to the founding account, and I haven't moved it at all, and yes, it's new, like, 1 day new, so it must have been dumped during the server change.
