First topic message reminder :

Dear users,

Following the incidents that took place over the past few weeks, we have decided to give a gift to all of our users. We disabled advertising on your forums for an undetermined amount of time. Smile

Edit : The ads have returned on October 30th.

Then, we will doubled the default storage for the gallery from 10MB to 20MB for all forums.

Again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the problems we have faced.

Look...Just because Typhlo is giving you guys compensation does NOT mean you can go off putting up the links to your forums in A) A non advertising forum and B) A non support forum. This is considered advertising and sitelinking and is a big no-no. Seriously stop doing this. They do not need your forum links because they do not go to your forums individually unless its for support in a SUPPORT FORUM. So seriously stop posting your forum links this is getting aggravating. Just say your thanks and keep going. No need to bother typhlo, and the rest of us with your silly comments about something that all of us already know.

Um... This topic is a support forum, and certain topics (such as this one) ask you post your site link. If you tell them you are having problems, they will ask your link. So, if you don't mind, please read a post before you rant.

Not sure what it's got to do with you, can't see how it's aggrevating either.

As CFS has said, try reading some of the other posts.

What's seriously aggravating is spending money for a gallery then to have it wiped out and the storage seriously reduced!

Obviously learn to take your own advise first. And on top of that your wrong. No staff member told anyone to post the links to their forums for extra support as this is not a support forum This is an UPDATES forum. I do not think that updates has anything to do with support. So please think before you try to reply to someone else's comments.

Ignorance is not needed on the suport forum. However, if your having a crutial problem with your forum, i bet you $1,000 dollars you would post your link in this topic. Therefore, thats why this topic is here. However, if you are going to be ignorant, that is not needed or wanted on the support forum.

Actually i wouldn't, i would post it in the proper SUPPORT FORUM. Not in the UPDATES FORUM. That is why there are SUPPORT FORUMS for you to post your links in for you to get SUPPORT. It has already been stated multiple times by several of the staff that the only place you will get support for your problems was in the SUPPORT FORUMS. If your having problems with your gallery, or connections, then go to the proper forum and post it there. Posting your links in this topic is unneeded. All your doing is spamming an Update topic with your forum links which is considered advertising outside of the advertising forum. If your problem were really that urgent then go post it in the support forums where it belongs.

No they wont because i haven't seen them do that yet. Usually they will lock the topic and tell you to post it in the proper section. But seeing how many posts go into the updates forum its really difficult to lock the topic and tell people to go post it in the support forum so instead they make "Subject Only" Topics for general problems like you all are having. If you actually go into the forum and look you'll find it ._. Thats how you show that you are a TRUE member ._.

CFS I am getting really tired of your negative comments here and it needs to end now its been going to long. One more post about Forumotion is making you mad or what ever about updates or a free gift will get you a serious warning and after that a ban from this forum. Forumotion is doing their best to make sure that the servers are 100% Stable so that they can roll the updates. Its better to wait and then to find out your forum is lost. I can tell you this its worth the wait.

What kind of problem do you have? Because there are topics in this announcements/update section there where ask to place your link in the topic if you have problems.

You are no staff member, I'm not too.. so don't tell other members what to think, say or anything if you don't know about it and they do.
If you have problems with the things how it goes here in this forum area, I think you need to open a suggestion topic about it.

Ok, my bad... it's the connection problem where ask about the forum links.. but sometimes it will ask in these topics too..

But I see so many topics about the future updates and the server problems and things that I thougt all kind of topics where in the announcements forum.

And I can't edit my post, so sorry.. but it was irritating there where ask in al these four topics about it.. but I don't read the 15 pages or 5 pages anymore, because most of the problems where saying are the same.

So I'm sorry Smile

Well stop the ads for ever I mean ever , then made Admins to split or share the profits of their own ads with forumotions, that the way to go , for the long run.

I will not keep doing work in my forum without some type of financial rewards, just to see the hosting company pickup the fruits of my hard work that scheme will not work in the long run, I hope you realize that before you lose your biggest traffic forums.

i think some people have to realise that these things happen, im sure the admins werent sitting there drinking coffee doing nothing, im sure they worked hard to resolve the probelms, i think we should show them a little more thanks.

Well we worked really hard just to figure out what was wrong with our forums and no one seems to care about the Admin's that own forums and have problems.

is that was indefinate time huh?why dont forumotion just put these ads on just help forum to earn their is 29652 registered members in this forum + thousands of daily guests as well on this help forum . typlo you will earn more here rather then putting ads on your users forum.

+your placements of ads on forums is soo dirty that our forum looks worst. If you still want to put ads then why dont you put box that will have 2googleads and it wud be on the top of the page or at end of the footer. so that the forum should not look in worst condition
