First topic message reminder :

Dear users,

Following the incidents that took place over the past few weeks, we have decided to give a gift to all of our users. We disabled advertising on your forums for an undetermined amount of time. Smile

Edit : The ads have returned on October 30th.

Then, we will doubled the default storage for the gallery from 10MB to 20MB for all forums.

Again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the problems we have faced.

FM has disabled google ads for an indefinite time so thats a good thing.

I was going to pay for no ads anyway and whats the point in having a gallery when I have a website that uploads graphics, it might help some people but not me plus we would have had 130 users probely if it wasn't for all this construction and about 3000 posts not 2,000 posts

Doesn't mean no Forum adverts. Full stop. It means that for an un specified amount of time, there will be no adds on all Forumotion's forums. So by next week (for arguments sake) the adds could be back on..

And the 20mb storage for the gallery makes no difference to me, I had really bad problems - loosing three members - and gained nothing. I accept your apology and in return ask that if there is to be anymore updates then maybe a week's notice in advance would be really helpful and considerate. Plus, it would allow me to make it clear to my members that in a week's time scedualed maintenance will be in proceedings.

I know this isn't your problem Typlo but I'm also having a problem with the forum skins. It looks like Jalokim hasn't paid his PB account again. One set back after another...

Hi all. First I do understand the forum team work hard and have tried to resolve this problem so please don't attack me, but i've just returned from a week away and am disappointed that no one has found all the missing data yet and that my galleries are filled with red X ghost images.

Before I went away someone on the forum said they would be refunding any additional credits. I just bought additional credits in September but there's been no refund to my paypal account yet? When will the refunds be made please?

Next, if the data really is lost and we have to try to rebuild everything we are able to do, how can we get rid of the pages of red X smillies and gallery photos ? Additional storage isn't much good if the gallerys full of red X's!

Thanks in advance for any practical help and information formotion staff can offer me

Well this is the first time in almost a month I have been able to log in from my own PC. I am guessing things must slowly be getting back to normal.

Thanks again for all the help everyone. Yes it took a long time to straighten out but I guess in the end as long as it is fixed we'll be ok.

Yeah that is true. However, I am pretty easily pleased right now. I had been on the outside looking in at my forum for almost a month. Just seeing it load is good enough for me for today. Laughing

I paid for additional credits for my gallery over the past 10 months (3.6 gb) in total and now it states I have 20mb!!!!

I also paid for no ads, so as far as compensation goes, it's not, I'm worse off What the fuck ?!?
