Following the incidents that took place over the past few weeks, we have decided to give a gift to all of our users. We disabled advertising on your forums for an undetermined amount of time.
Edit : The ads have returned on October 30th.

Then, we will doubled the default storage for the gallery from 10MB to 20MB for all forums.

Again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the problems we have faced.

The adds on ur forum were removed; it was done via the office, not your ACP.

Nice the gift is a OK choice. You guys are really bad at communication! We haven't even received a update about the 24 feature update. Can you at least tell us what is going on?

Yes they aren't out since Forumotion wants to make sure the servers are stable before they are out so that they don't crash and have a big crowd of members.

MrMario, do you think the updates' upload could cause any disturbances? Could you please let us know in advance when you plan to upload them?

I am still hunting escaped smilies...
But this is a free service, and it's exceptionally good, compared to other 'free' boards that are available on thew web.
So even though the SNAFUs I've experienced with Forumotion made me wail and curse I am still grateful for what I am getting. It is a lot, it's a lot of work people are putting into it, and this gift is a real nice surprise and token of goodwill.
Specially because I personally I don't think it was necessary I appreciate it very much!

Form my point: I do not think there would be any inconvenience of the upload of the updates to ther servers, however if there were any problems it would be when the update is released and is being used.

don't know but, damn it, i am really starting to get mad. i wish these idiots would just release the damn things. they have had more than 1 month to work on these. there BETTER be well over 30 instead of 24 because, you guys have had PLENTY of time. I and many member of forumotion only have time on the weekends. I know they won't release these updates this weekend because, THEY DON'T WORK ON THE WEEKENDS. I am fed up. If I have to leave forumotion because I need more features, I will do it. A forum provider is about UpTime & ITS FEATURES. I am so mad at you guys, I can't put it in words. IF I find forumotions phone number, YOUR PHONE WILL NEVER SHUT UP. I don't care what negative comments I get on this, I just want more features. HOW HARD IS THAT TO ASK.

I am sorry cfs but as they say, s**t happens. I think calling forumotion staff idiots & complaining they don't work 7 days a week, is exceptionally rude & un-called for. How do you know whether they work weekends or not?

I know they certainly have for at least a couple because it has been mentioned on here. I see from your post that you only work 5 days a week as you seem to devote your weekends to your leisure ie: your forum.

These forums are free to us remember. These new features didn't come with the forum you signed up for so anything extra that we get is an added is a bonus. I prefer they don't release any updates until all the forums are stable & back to normal.
