Tech member set himself up as founder instead of I
Hi, what can I do to gain controle of my own site.
The person who created the site for me (under our my leadership) put himself as founder of the site. I just notice that now that I am a bit more educated in the back end of the forum. I now want the founder status transfered to me to be able to have access to the credit section and make changes but he will not do so.
Do I have any options?
Regards

your going to have to ask him to do it for you.
tell him to put your email address and your user name and to put a temp pass to give you. then once your in there you can change your pass to what you want.
but if he is the founder then only he can do this. unless he gives you his pass for you to do it.

I appreciate your quick response Kirk, but he does not want to transfer it or give me that info so I can transfer it myself.
I am admin on the site ...simply not founder.
Any other suggestions when the founder does not want to hand it over
Thanks again

no threes nothing you can do. technically it's his forum. he has the founding account so it's his forum.
i would just say forget him and go create your own forum then. or stay on board there as a admin just not the founder. it's all up to him.You should never allow someone to create a forum for you as the founder. you create the board then put them in as a admin to create what ever. if it's something only the founder can do like template edit then you would have to put it in there.
