Abusive member made founder

The previous founder of a forum I've been active in accidently gave foundership to an abusive member. We can't do anythihng to stop him. It was all a mistake; the current founder is hateful and he is just not what is best for the forum. We have worked so hard on this site, is there any way the current founder can be taken off and the previous founder be given back his rights?

Do you mean that someone/the original founder gave his founder account to that member or you just gave him administration powers? I don't think there's a way for him to be removed unless he wants to handover it someone by reading this thread:

I really don't understand why, like I said it was all a mistake, but the original founder gave foundership to an admistrator who is extremely hateful and has cussed people out including myself, despite warnings. He's manipulative and the original founder was so stressed out from being told what to do that he just handed foundership over to that guy. Now me and the other active admins and members are trying to figure out a way for us to keep the site from being overrun by this hateful dictator. It's only a matter of time before we won't be able to do anything about it because no doubt once he figures out how to do so, he will either strip us of our powers or ban us. I hope there is a way that we can report this guy and get him out of his position because we all know he is not going to follow the no hateful policy.

As long as the administrator is the administrator you won't be able to do anything, well not unless he decides to give back the administrator rights.

Its the founders forum. Unless he's breaking the Terms of Service there isn't much that can be done to stop it. You can do is create your own forum and get away from the founder.
