Porn Spammers

Hello,
Has anyone encountered Porn Spammers registering with their forums

I just banned a new registration skcbait skchoe74@hotmail.com who didnt activate their account. I did a google search & found it was linked to porn. This is the first time I have encountered

I had couple of shock spammers (correct term) couple months after I created my forum.

Ban the user and remove the content.

Ban him, delete all the porn content. If he create multiple accounts, ban him by email or by IP.

The member was banned straight away before he ever logged on, there was no posts by this member as I never gave him a chance to activate his account. His user name & e-mail address is linked to a porn site in USA.

You haven't broken any rule. You are allowed to reply to your own topic if:

=> Someone else has replied within 24 hours since your last post.
=> 24 hours has passed since your last post without any replies.

Good going, so what seems to be the problem now? I see that you've taken the necessary steps to prevent the spammer.

If the person didnt register their account and didn't post at all... how is it considered spamming?

even if a google search did bring up porn... they didnt exactly span did they. they just joined up.

This can be closed seeing the person who registered & I banned has not tried to rejoin as another member. Thanks for your comments
